November was a busy month for The Life Cascade project!
The initiative, involving 12 partners and founded under the Life Programme, was presented to the public during Ecomondo 2024 in Rimini from November 5th to 8th and also on November 13th at the ZDHC Southern Europe Conference in Milan.
Ecomondo, a key event for green and circular economy, it’s the meeting place where industrial groups, stakeholders, policymakers, opinion leaders, local authorities, research bodies and institutions come together and put in place the key elements that define the strategies for the development of EU environmental policy.
Life Cascade was hosted in Biochemie Lab’s stand, where multiple partners were available to introduce the project to visitors, and its poster was presented at the event "Piani, strategie e soluzioni per attuare la nuova Direttiva sulle acque reflue urbane e affrontare le sfide della futura Direttiva sui fanghi: casi di studio europei e italiani".
The Southern Europe Conference this year focused on “Driving Regional Sustainable Change for Global Impact" to highlight the importance of local collaboration in building a movement toward sustainability. It was kindly hosted by Sistema Moda Italia, SMI (Confindustria) (SMI).
The Life Cascade project had a dedicated space during the event, and Enrica Baldini (Centro Tessile Serico Sostenibile) talked about the project to both the in-person and virtually.
