MMCF Module now open for submissions

We invite all suppliers and brands working with MMCF (Man-made Cellulosic Fibres) to take action on the ZDHC MMCF Programme.

The ZDHC MMCF Programme provides comprehensive roadmaps for different MMCF fibre types, supporting their alignment with the sustainability expectations of the industry and Canopy’s Hot Button Report.

Action points for brands and suppliers 

Brands and suppliers sourcing MMCF materials should establish policies aligned to the ZDHC MMCF Guidelines V2.2. They should engage with their supply chain to ensure the implementation of requirements set out in the guidelines.

The MMCF Module on the ZDHC Supplier Platform is now open for submissions (for viscose, modal, lyocell, cupro and acetate) and remains open until the 31st May. Suppliers should assess chemical management practices, including: chemical recovery, wastewater management and air emissions. 

The MMCF Module is aligned and included in Canopy’s Hot Button Report through the chemical management criteria.
