ZDHC Academy showcases young talent in sustainable fashion!
The last half year the ZDHC Academy had the pleasure to work with very talented young people. Our interns Harry (16) and Ann (21) inspire us with their focus on environmental justice and ethics. Their engagement and dedication on how to make the world a better place is incredible.
Somebody who translates this strong engagement into creativity is designer Arianna Andela. Arianna, who is 20 years old, just finished the Jean School international course last year, and is now developing her own brand with the key focus being upcycling.
The ZDHC Academy took the opportunity to showcase the work of Arianna and speak about the importance of already taking the right decisions for the environment in the design process during the Africa Sourcing and Fashion Week. The upcycled denim design of Arianna at our booth showcases the great mind of a young designer and connected the dots between design and the mission of ZDHC. Arianna recently launched her first collection!
